The heart writes in iambic meter.
Life's paint is from heaven to hell.
Together they form a grey theater
which doesn't just talks to talk, but tell.

I'm writing a paper on poetry right now - where I will have my own poetry in the end of it - and I'm wondering if you have some good pages on the subject. It's not like I don't have any sources, I just thinking of broaden my horizons.

I maybe should add that I did not have a purpose to write in iambic meter. It was just a spontaneous thought, which came after reading your post. May seem funny if you think about it!

Wow P.J.- That first stanza above was gorgeous! Was was sad to hear of Wisława Szymborska's death.

Sorry about the late- way late response- I've been juggling a billion and a half things.

If you want some good pages read the Preface to Lyrical Ballads written by Wordsworth!
